Preparing for Chemo
Be Active in Your Cancer Care:

Ask questions, take notes, and don’t settle! It’s vital to be your own advocate.

Record your doctor appointments.

If you’re not comfortable with your care team, speak up or consider switching providers. Never underestimate the power of using your words.
Important Reminder

Medications: report all meds —prescribed, herbal, and over-the-counter.

Check with oncologist before starting new supplements to avoid any adverse effects on your treatment.

Keep a diary or journal to track questions and daily symptoms.
